It would help if we knew which part of the mission is giving you problems. My guess is that it has something to do with the forgotten monks who spam Word of Healing. You really need a way to pin them down and prevent them from casting their spells; otherwise you might sit there all day in a stalemate. Ranger interrupts or mesmer skills like Diversion should go a long way in getting you through.

Sometimes you have to lure towards the end, using ppl with heros is better sometimes as well. If all else fails I'll help.

we are at the part where we have to do the Accension and we need to get 3 of the crystals for the ghost so he can fuse them together. We have the first one,but can't seem to get the second one where we cross the bridge. As far as the third one,we are not sure about that one yet.

Don't cross the bridge, just go to the path on the side of it and just lure the monsters, that's the important thing to do in this mission.

This game is TOTALLY RETARDED and it is this mission that has decided the fate of the future of the Guild Wars games for me,I wont be buying any more,it's just a waste of time and money. The level cap,the death penalty, the runes for the armor, they all play a part in my not wanting to buy into the GW games, sorry guys,I just don't like the setup of this game.
see you all

Okay, you're entitled to an opinion.

This is an enormous contradiction. I suppose you prefer games where the level cap is, say, eighty?

What class are you playing? What heros/ henchmen are you using? Did you check mission info here on Guru or in wiki? Get thru it and you will be a better player.

Which group are you going after first? Did you clear out any roaming npcs that may be spoilers? The Mission isn't the easiest one but its been done many many many time so its doable. Check to see which npcs are giving you the problem...getting trapped on the bridge is the most common reason for failure. Try flagging warrior types forward and take out the healers if possible.

You might try to get in a group...lfg for mission.

Good luck

lol, nice. Quoted for truth.

Someone who quits a game because he/she/it can't get past one part of it? Man, good luck when you move out of mommy and daddy's house and into the real world.....

"Wah! This job is too hard! I quit! I just can't get the hang of flipping burgers! Wah!"

I'm calling the waaaaaambulance.

Thanks for the laugh
No kidding, that bridge isn't the best place for a fight.
If you quit something instead of asking yourself why you keep failing I think you made the right choice.

If you are pugging this mission good luck. I have never had too much trouble with it myself. Just make sure to keep aggro to a minimum, and bring lots of interp's. Shutting down the casters makes a huge difference. Last time I did it I think I was an R/W with a R ranger and then a mixed bunch of front line and back line support. It didn't pose to many problems. We just took it slow and easy.

Well, first off I am not going to turn this into a war.To answer October Jade's question,I do like playing games that have a higher level then 20.Jade I'm 42 years old and only lived with my "mommy" until age 18 any way.I don't understand the builds in this game and really never had to do them in games I have played before.I also come from a different part of RPG games, the single player party based games that didn't have that much,if anything to do with stacking runes and things like that.Last thanks to Antares Ascending for hopefully seeing my rants as me being Pissed about a part of the game I have tried over and over to complete but am not able to do,because of,yes you guessed it operator error.
Thanks

Actually, there could be a lot of stuff that you need help with. If you are having problems understanding Runes and Skills and stuff, it could be that you need help from the ground up. So, if you want help, start by telling us what class you are playing, what armor you are using, and what Runes and Insignias you have.
I'd be happy to answer your questions. (I'd even be happy to help you get through the mission, if you can find me actually in game.)
